All hail Jedi Amara and her great banner-making power. :D

The Adventure Digivices were the first known Digivices. The only ability they had alone was to evolve Digimon to Adult, and find other Chosen Children.

An image of a digivice.

Like all Digivices, the original Digivice came in different colors.

There were eight Tags, and nine Crests. The eight original Crests were Courage, Friendship, Hope, Light, Faith, Purity, Knowledge, and Love. They belonged to Taichi, Yamato, Takeru, Hikari, Jyou, Mimi, Koushirou, and Sora, respectively. The Tags and Crests together can evolve a Digimon to Perfect or Final. The ninth Crest was that of Kindness, but it did not appear until Adventure 02, leading me to believe it was not created until after Apocalymon's defeat. It's Tag could not be found, and it was never used for anything other than to:

  • 1) Transform into the Digimental of Miracles and allow V-Mon to evolve into Magnamon to defeat Chimeramon, and
  • 2) Stop the Kaizer's base from exploding.
